Carcassonne: Ritter, Räuber, Ränkeschmiede [for PC]

Published by Koch Media GmbH, Tandem Verlag GmbH, 1C Company (Russian edition), and Deep Silver; developed by Meridian'93. This game was released on December 1, 2002 with official support until January 1, 2006. This release was developed for Windows (Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 7). It was available in English, German, French, and Russian.

It included the expansions: River, King and Baron, Inns and Cathedrals, Traders and Builders.

This videogame is considered the first adaptation of Carcassonne, introducing different "skins" for tiles and meeples.

Carcassonne [for DS]

Published by Koch Media GmbH and Deep Silver; developed by Independent Arts Software GmbH. This game was released on October 23, 2009. This release was developed for Nintendo DS. It was available in English, French, Italian, German.

It included only the River I expansion.

Similar to the PC Koch release, this game included four different themes (or skins) for tiles, called Scenary or Worlds. This is the only Carcassonne videogame that includes a Story mode.

Carcassonne [by Coding Monkeys]

Published and developed by The Coding Monkeys. This game was released on June 4, 2010 with official support until February 29, 2020. This release was developed for iOS initially. A major port was released on December 9, 2015 for Mac OS (Mac OS X 10.10).

It included the expansions: River I, River II, Inns and Cathedrals, Traders and Builders, The Phantom, The Princess & the Dragon, The Abbot, and Cathedrals in Germany. It also included Winter Edition with the Gingerbread Man expansion. This is the only version that included multiple expansions from the base game adapted to the Winter theme (e.g., Inns and Cathedrals, Traders and Builders, The Princess and The Dragon, Cathedral in Germany, The Abbot).

It was the first adaptation of Carcassonne for mobile phones.

Carcassonne [by Exozet v.1]

This game was released on March 18, 2011 (Android), September 9, 2011 (Blackberry) with official support until 2014. This release was developed for Android, J2ME phones (supporting touch screen and regular feature phones), and Blackberry (Blackberry OS versions 4.6.0 and up, 2.0.0 and up for tablets and BB10).

It included only the River II expansion.

Carcassonne [by Exozet for Windows Phone 7]

Published by Microsoft Studios, and developed by Exozet Games GmbH. This game was released on October 24, 2012 with official support until September 2015. This release was developed for Windows Phone (Windows Phone 7 and 8). This version included a different graphical user interface than previous Exozet development for other mobile platforms, and it was not upgradable to next version. It was available in English.

It included the River II expansion.

Also known by the developer as the Xbox Live Windows Phone version of Carcassonne.

A major update only for Android (known as version 2) and Windows platform (as UWP app) was published and developed by Exozet Games GmbH. This game was released on July 4, 2014 (Android) and October 8, 2014 (UWP) with official support until May 17, 2017. This release was developed for Android, Windows Phone 8, and Windows (Windows 8 and Windows RT).

It included the expansions: River II, Inns and Cathedrals, Traders and Builders, Crop Circles, and The Festival.

At this point no new versions for J2ME or Blackberry platforms were released.

This release was developed for Android (Android 4.1 +), Windows (Windows 10), Switch (Name in this version is just Carcassonne and it includes some minor changes in the graphical user interface to fit with console controllers) and iOS.

It included the expansions: River I, Inns and Cathedrals, Traders and Builders, The Princess & the Dragon, and The Abbot. It also included Winter Edition with the Gingerbread Man.
