<translate> Royal Family expansion brings Princess, Queen, and King to your Carcassonne cities, each with a unique power. The Princess charms a knight out of city, the Queen can removes any meeple from it's tile, and the King shields meeples a tile from the Dragon. When any of them meet in the same city, they trigger bonus scoring.</translate>

General info

Princess, Queen and King - Royal Family fan-expansion for Carcassonne Base Game was released by Carcassonne CZ forum member Chmura (CarcCZ, CarcC). Queen fan-expansion C2 edition was made as a fan-made expansion for the 9th meet-up and Royal Family C2 edition fan-expansion (standalone King Tiles) was made as a fan-made expansion for the 14th meet-up.

Rules

Preparation

Shuffle the 18 land tiles showing the royal family symbols (princess, queen and king) together with those from the base game.

Gameplay

1. Placing a tile

If a Princess tile enlarged a city occupied by one or more knights, you may remove one knight of your choice (even your own) from the enlarged city and return it to its player's supply.

If a Queen tile enlarged a city occupied by one or more knights or a road occupied by one or more travelers, you may remove one knight or one traveler of your choice (even your own) from the enlarged city or enlarged road and return it to its player's supply.

If a King tile placed, you will watch what happend. (WIP)

After enlarge a city by another Royal Family member which were not in the city before, owner if the city immediately receives 3 points. The same rule applies when placing another member of the Royal Family.

2. Placing a meeple

If it was removed a meeple by Princess or Queen tile in 1. Placing a tile, you may not place a meeple this turn. If you did't, you may place a meeple as usual.

3. Scoring a feature

If this city is closed/completed, the owner receives 5 points for two members of the Royal Family, or 10 points for the complete Royal Family (King, Queen, and Princess).

Final Scoring

Princess, Queen and King - The Royal Family (Fan Expansion) does not affect final scoring.

New land tiles

The new Land tiles are played like those in the base game.

Farmhouse: The farmhouse bushes separate fields to two different fields.

General rules

Although the Queen and King can affect features beyond the feature containing their symbol, the bonus for having multiple members of The Royal Family applies only to city segments that show the corresponding symbol.

If a player uses princess, queen or king to remove any meeple, the player may not perform any action in phase 2. Placing a meeple which replaces standard meeple placement or a phantom placement.
