Small Meeples introduce a new type of meeple that can be gained during play when closing a hole in the playing area. These special meeples count only as half a meeple when determining majority.

Rules

Preparation

Place the mini meeples in player colors in a supply next to the scoring track. Return any mini meeples in unused colors to the game box.

Gameplay

Earn mini meeple


1. Placing a tile

If a normal (non-abbey) tile is placed into a hole, i.e it is surrounded on 4 sides, the player earns one mini meeple from common supply (if available), which may be used on future turns as one would normally use a meeple.

2. Placing a meeple

You may place a meeple according to the usual rules.

You may not use the earned mini meeple until a future turn.

3. Scoring a feature

User:Bumsakalaka/SM does not affect scoring.

Usage of small meeple

1. Placing a tile

Whenever you draw a tile, place it normally.

2. Placing a meeple

Instead of a standard meeple, you may place your mini meeple according to the usual rules.

3. Scoring a feature

When determining the majority in a feature, the mini meeple counts as ½ standard meeple (it has a strength of 0.5).

Final Scoring

The same rules apply to mini meeples during final scoring.
