The Rooster Saturnin fan-expansion for Carcassonne Base Game was released by Carcassonne Central member Linkarssonne as 2024 promotial tile from the french community of Carcassonne.

Rules

Preparation

Shuffle the new land tile showing the rooster with those from the base game.

Gameplay

1. Placing a tile

The rooster arrives into the board and scares away the occupants (meeple) of the city because of its repeated howls.

If you extend one or more cities with this tile, you must remove all the meeple who occupy the cities and return them to the players supply. In this case, you can't place a meeple on the tile.

{{{image}}} not defined Example 1: Red places a tile and extend city two cities with meeple. All meeples in extended cities are returned to the players supply.

2. Placing a meeple

You can place a meeple on the tile you have just placed, unless the rooster was used to scare away the city occupants in previous phase.

3. Scoring a feature

User:Bumsakalaka/RS does not affect scoring.

General rules

When the rooster removes at least one meeple from extended cities, you are not able to place any meeple on rooster tile. Everything else in phase 2. Placing a Meeple are allowed, if possible.
