Between
Paloi Sciurala | Posted on Dec 3, 2021 at 6:16 pm

"between 0 and 3" means 1-2.

Meepledrone | Posted on Dec 4, 2021 at 12:42 am

My computer-science background assumed that a range between 0 and 3 = [ 0, 1, 2, 3 ]. That is the range considers both limits.

Check this page, for example: https://www.codegrepper.com/code-examples/javascript/javascript+range+between+two+numbers

Do you find this ambiguous? We could also write this: #correct signpost types can be a from 0 to 3

Players do not get this bonus on the same turn they send a meeple to the X quarter
Paloi Sciurala | Posted on Dec 31, 2020 at 12:36 pm | Last edited on Dec 31, 2020 at 12:49 pm

Why this applies only to cities and monastic buildings, but roads not? "Players get this bonus on the same turn they send a meeple to the Wainwrights quarter, if they had more than one meeple on the road"- on CarccassonneCentral you said that this exception applies only to a Leipzig road (a road connected to Leipzig), not to all roads. " If you send a meeple into the Wainwrights Quarter you will get the bonus points (see below) immediately" clarify that you receive the bonus for that Leipzig road even if you have just sent a meeple to Wainwrights quarter. It does not say that in that turn you receive Leipzig bonus points only for Wainwrights quarter.

Reworded to cover properly the completion of several roads when sending a meeple to Leipzig

0 points

0 points for fortune teller tent?

Meepledrone | Posted on Dec 20, 2020 at 10:43 am | Last edited on Dec 20, 2020 at 10:48 am

If you check the rules, fortune teller tents have different mechanics than other features. The player occupying the fortune teller tents can draw additional tiles in each draw but when the tent is completed, the player who scores for it is the one completing the feature... It works like a bonus for the player completing the feature. It would be similar to what happens with a city with trade goods, but in this case the player gets points instead of tokens.

However odd, the feature is actually scored, so other bonuses may apply.

Little buildings for abbot
Paloi Sciurala | Posted on Jul 22, 2020 at 8:42 pm

It is not mentioned if the little buildings are considered if you remove an abbot.

Meepledrone | Posted on Jul 22, 2020 at 9:31 pm | Last edited on Jul 22, 2020 at 9:32 pm

Little buildings only apply to features being scored. When you remove an abbot to score it early, you are not scoring the feature it is on but the figure itself. If the abbot is placed on a monastery, that's why you don't get vineyards points either.

I added a note.

Gingerbread Man

Win gbm ic1.png

"Gingerbread Man: All players with meeples in the city" "1 point / tile per meeple"- if so, here red would score 21 points.

Meepledrone | Posted on Jul 13, 2020 at 4:00 pm | Last edited on Jul 13, 2020 at 4:00 pm

The incomplete city where the Gingebread Man was has 7 tiles, 1 blue meeple and 2 red meeples. The red meeple top right is not considered, since it is on a different city.

So Blue receives 7 tiles x 1 point x 1 meeple = 7 bonus points for the Gingerbread Man and Red receives 7 tiles x 1 point x 2 meeples = 14 bonus points.

"Gingerbread Man: All players with meeples in the city" "1 point / tile per meeple"- if so, here red would score 21 points (2 red meeples and 1 blue meeple) and blue would score 21 points (2 red meeples and 1 blue meeple)- "per meeple"- whose meeple?

Meepledrone | Posted on Jul 13, 2020 at 10:57 pm | Last edited on Jul 13, 2020 at 11:44 pm

OK. I see your point. Each player scores the bonus for his/her meeples.

"1 point / tile times the number of mepples a player has in the city"

Wording updated to avoid ambiguity

Tollkeepers
Paloi Sciurala | Posted on Jul 13, 2020 at 11:24 am

"farmhouse, shed, garden and highwaymen on road tiles"- not road tiles.

Meepledrone | Posted on Jul 13, 2020 at 2:11 pm

You want to specify that those features should be on the road, not anywhere on the tile, right?
