This is the second major expansion for [[Base game (1st edition)| Carcassonne ]] and introduces a few new aspects to the game. They introduced some new tiles that brought new things with them.  

The bag is not included in the [[Variants#Big Box|Big Box]] set, and so is omitted from the list. The original explanation for the use of the bag is as follows: ‘For technical reasons, the tiles of Carcassonne (the basic game) and the expansion(s) may have slightly different colors. Should this be the case, the tiles may be drawn from the bag.’
