On the highest mesa of the Czech Republic, Děčínský Sněžník (724 m), you will find one of the oldest and most beautiful stone observation towers. It was built in 1864 in neo-Gothic style and is 33 metres high. When the weather is nice, it is also visible from Königstein Fortress, which we know from the Castles in Germany Castles in Germany.

General info

Děčínský Sněžník fan-expansion for Carcassonne Base Game Carcassonne Base Game was released by Carcassonne CZ forum members Petr Chytka (CarcCZ) with tile design by Chmura (CarcCZ, CarcC) and figure design by šmoula (CarcCZ, CarcC) as a fan-made expansion for the 13th Carcassonne CZ forum meet-up.

Gameplay

Figure Observation Tower Decinsky Sneznik Red.png
1. Placing a tile

Whenever you draw a tile, place it normally.

2. Placing a meeple

You may place an observation tower figure instead of placing a meeple. An observation tower may only be placed on a field.

3. Scoring a feature

An observation tower is completed when it is surrounded by tiles in all cardinal directions (north, east, south, and west). The player scores 5 points and the observation tower is returned to the player's supply.

Example: Red finished Blue's Observation tower by placing a tile. Blue scores 5 points.
Final Scoring

If the observation tower is not completed at the end of the game, the player scores no points.
